Associate Research Scientist Contractor – RNAi Formulations - Pay Rate: $39.04/hr on W2
- Duration: 1 year
- Work Model: Onsite
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Hands‑on experience in formulation of oligonucleotides or antibodies/proteins for subcutaneous injection.
- Hands‑on experience with analytical characterization of oligonucleotides or antibodies/proteins.

, including maximum solubility, viscosity, osmolality, and chemical/physical stability.
The Associate Research Scientist Contractor will be part of a multidisciplinary research team focused on RNAi formulation development, biophysical and analytical characterization, and oligonucleotide delivery for injectable therapeutics.
The role is laboratory‑based and involves hands‑on formulation development, characterization, analytical testing, data analysis, and support for preclinical research programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the development and characterization of preclinical RNAi and oligonucleotide formulations across portfolio and platform projects.
- Perform hands‑on formulation preparation, biophysical characterization, analytical testing, and data analysis to support formulation selection and develop ability assessments.
- Establish and perform screening assays for oligonucleotides, including formulation performance, solubility, viscosity, osmolality, degradation, and stability assessments
. - Contribute to high‑throughput screening and Design of Experiments (DoE) approaches for formulation optimization.
- MS with approximately 3 years of relevant experience
, or PhD with 1–3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical sciences, formulation sciences, chemical engineering, biophysics, analytical chemistry, oligonucleotide delivery, or a related discipline. - Hands‑on experience with oligonucleotide or antibody/protein formulation and characterization is strongly preferred.
- Experience developing or performing analytical methods for solubility, viscosity, osmolality, aggregation, stability, or other develop ability assessments
. - Familiarity with automation, high‑throughput screening, and DoE‑based formulation optimization is a plus.
- Strong experimental planning, documentation, data analysis, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across disciplines and functions.
- Awareness of advances in RNA delivery, oligonucleotide therapeutics, and clinical translation is a plus.
