Job Overview
The group is seeking a Systems Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer to assist in developing our existing Matlab codebases for physics and electronic warfare modelling. The engineer will work with the team to understand the features that need to be added, leverage their engineering/physics technical background to model the desired features, and implement them efficiently. The engineer is also expected to improve the quality of the existing codebase in accordance with software engineering best practices and run meaningful analysis.
Responsibilities- Independently add features and capabilities to the existing Matlab codebase, modeling basic physics phenomena such as RF propagation, electronic warfare, missile flyouts, and sensors.
- Perform quality control on new features and the existing code base by adding unit tests and other safeguards to ensure accurate results.
- Collaborate with the team to determine new features needed to support analysis.
- Take responsibility for overall software architecture and quality control of the codebase, guiding how new features should be integrated.
- Conduct modeling runs required for analysis and build tools that enable efficient batch runs and result analysis.

Two‑year contract with the possibility of extension based on budget, work availability, and performance.
ClearanceCandidates must have an active Secret clearance to be considered for this position.
Work LocationOnsite – candidate should expect to be onsite five days a week.
