Qualifications Required
- High school diploma with at least one year of related experience. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team and be comfortable working with a diverse student population. Must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills as well as a genuine interest in adult learners. Proficiency using Excel and Word is also required.
General Summary
- Individual will assist with the operation of the Adult Education program in Lexington. Duties include data entry using Excel spreadsheets, registering new English as a Second Language (ESL) and General Educational Development (GED) students, maintaining class rosters and accurate student records, answering phones, proctoring assessments, monitoring student progress, and assisting teachers as needed. Must be a detail oriented self-starter with advanced organizational skills capable of managing multiple tasks and adapting quickly to change.
