Position SummaryThe Quality Assurance and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all ingredients and products remain within compliance and meet LNC’s standard of quality and ensuring the feed safety of all employees and practices. The Quality Assurance and Compliance Coordinator must have basic feed and/or grain industry knowledge.
Responsibilities And Duties- Assist in reviewing the Quality Assurance Program and Food Safety Program.
- Ability to make recommendations for Compliance requirements.
- Monitor feed and ingredient assays. Notify the Manager when out of compliance.
- Work with the Location Facility Manager to ensure all QA processes and controls are being met.
- Ensure location meets all FSMA requirements.
- Assist with training and audits at the location level.
- Assist with new employee safety and compliance onboarding training.
- Review and update SOPs and training documentation with employees.
- Provide weekly/monthly reports to Safety and Compliance team and the Location Facility Manager.
- Conducted daily drug reconciliation and adding ingredient inventory with lot codes.
- Operate truck scale and conduct daily mycotoxin testing.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Professionally conduct all activities.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
- Understand the Agriculture process.
- Associate of Science Degree or 1+ years of successful experience in a feed or grain milling environment.
- A good understanding of PCQI/HACCP guidelines is needed.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills are required.
- Dedication to team environment.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast and ever‑changing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as FSMA guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- Safety mindset.
- Some weekends may be required during the busy season.
