Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Lexington, Nebraska

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend | 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department of a critical access facility serving up to 350 patients per month
• Float between Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical, and Charge Nurse roles as needed
• Perform multifaceted nursing duties requiring flexibility across departments within a 25-bed facility
• Document patient care and clinical information using Cerner electronic health records
• Participate in orientation scheduled exclusively on Tuesdays

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Room, Med-Surg, or Charge Nurse roles
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• PALS certification (AHA, ARC, or ENPC) and TNCC certification

• NIHSS certification
• CPI certification
• SANE certification
• Experience working in a critical access or small rural hospital setting

• Facility-provided housing option available for the duration of the assignment
• No blocked scheduling and a straightforward call-off policy allowing up to 3 shifts per contract period without penalty or impact to guaranteed hours
