Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Lexington, NE | Critical Access Hospital

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Every Other Weekend | Blocked scheduling considered | 36 guaranteed hours per week

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department within a critical access facility seeing up to 350 ER patients per month
• Float between Emergency Department, Med/Surg, and Charge RN roles as required by facility needs
• Serve in a Charge RN capacity when assigned, demonstrating leadership and clinical decision-making
• Operate as a multifaceted clinician with flexibility to perform multiple duties across departments during assignment
• Document patient care using Cerner electronic health records
• Adhere to facility scrub color policy:
  Navy preferred
  , or any solid color

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Emergency Room, Med/Surg, and Charge RN roles
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification (AHA)
• ACLS certification (AHA)
• PALS (AHA or ENPC) and TNCC certifications required
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome to apply

• NIHSS certification
• CPI certification
• SANE certification
• Experience working in a critical access or small rural hospital environment

• Facility-provided housing available on-site, offering a convenient and cost-effective option for travelers on assignment
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a flexible call-off policy allowing up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract without penalty
