Accounting Specialist

We are partnering with a growing organization seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team in a contract-to-hire capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong Excel skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Process and maintain accurate financial records and transactions
• Manage the accounts payable processes
• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close processes
• Review and analyze financial data using Excel
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve accounting issues
• Generate reports and provide financial information to management
• Support audits and other accounting projects as needed

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• General knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis
• Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems preferred
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
