What you'll do on a typical day
The Part-time Chemistry faculty member is part of a dynamic team that is responsible for facilitating class and lab components of courses within the college transfer program. Classes and labs are located at the Davie Campus in Mocksville, NC. Courses are offered during the day only. The Part-time Chemistry faculty member reports directly to the Dean, Davie Campus.

Minimum Qualifications
Required:
Required:
Master's degree from an accredited institution, with 18 graduate hours in Chemistry
Skill in the use of technology, Google Workspace, and a commitment to use of technology in instruction
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively and collegially with others
Preferred Qualifications:
Community College teaching experience
Experience using a Learning Management System, such as Moodle, to deliver course content
Experience using equitable pedagogical strategies
Work environment
ADA requirements for this position include critical thinking skills with the ability to process information and exercise good judgment; ease of mobility within the work environment and other areas of campus and College locations; travel between campus locations may be required; and effective use of all forms of communication including use of computers.
