Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Special Education Teacher to provide targeted instructional and behavioral support to students requiring an adapted curriculum within a separate school environment. This role serves a specialized student population and centers on individualized instruction, behavioral support, and adapted curriculum delivery.
Core Responsibilities Deliver targeted, individualized instruction aligned to an adapted curriculum Provide behavioral and instructional support to students with complex, low-incidence needs Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals Adapt lesson plans, materials, and instructional strategies to individual student needs Collaborate with support staff, related-service providers, and families Maintain documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Requirements Active state teaching license with an Adapted Curriculum endorsement - strict requirement, no exceptions Experience teaching in a separate school or specialized setting preferred Demonstrated ability to deliver instruction and behavioral support to students with complex needs Strong collaboration and documentation skills Compensation & Schedule Full-time, standard school-year schedule Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
