Immediately Hiring Site Cleanup Supervisor Based In Lexington, NC
The ideal applicant for our Environmental Site Supervisor to oversee environmental sites in North Carolina will have experience supervising multiple site and its technicians, ensuring quality assurance and control, and handling report writing and administrative duties. The supervisor will lead field personnel in hazardous waste cleanup, spill response, industrial decontamination, environmental remediation, and emergency response projects, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company regulations.
Responsibilities- Supervise and lead environmental field technicians on remediation, industrial cleaning, and hazardous waste projects.
- Plan, assign, and direct daily work activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to support project objectives.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor productivity, quality, and compliance.
- Maintain communication with project managers, customers, and regulatory agencies as needed.
- Oversee hazardous material spill response, containment, and cleanup efforts.
- Direct soil, groundwater, sludge, chemical, and industrial waste remediation activities.
- Manage industrial facility decontamination, tank cleanouts, confined space operations, and specialty environmental services.
- Support emergency response events requiring rapid deployment of personnel and equipment.
- Ensure proper packaging, transportation, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
- Enforce all OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company safety requirements.
- Lead daily safety meetings, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and toolbox talks.
- Ensure employees properly utilize PPE, respiratory protection, and specialized safety equipment.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns and implement corrective actions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, NC.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
