Sr. Safety Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Safety & Environmental (S&E) Professional to support and strengthen a proactive safety and sustainability culture within a manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing safety and environmental programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations, and promoting a workplace where risks are proactively identified and eliminated. The position will conduct job hazard, ergonomic, accident, and loss-data analyses to identify potential risks and recommend effective corrective and preventive actions.

The individual will also develop and deliver safety and environmental training for employees, supervisors, managers, contractors, and visitors. The role will support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 programs, participate in audits and inspections, maintain regulatory and corporate records, coordinate emergency response activities, and assist with accident investigations. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Safety & Environmental experience in a manufacturing environment, a Bachelor’s degree, strong communication and presentation skills, and a solid understanding of safety, environmental, and ISO standards.
