Summary/Objective

Enviro Smart D.B.A ES-Integrated is seeking a qualified Environmental Services Site Superintendent to support the Lexington, North Carolina Division with experience on HAZWOPER and/or Industrial sites. The Site Superintendent will support a wide variety of environmental field services and project support. The candidate must demonstrate experience performing the listed or related duties and have the ability to learn, train, grow, and advance in a team-oriented environment.

A minimum of 3+ years’ experience leading crews of 3 or more technicians or field personnel is required. The Site Supervisor must be qualified to manage multiple service crews at different sites, enforce all safety and quality control policies, ensure work meets company and customer expectations, produce satisfactory profits, meet time limitations and contractual requirements. Performance is measured for Safety, Quality, and Value delivered to the project and company.

Working conditions include outside work, extreme temperatures, noisy conditions, shift work, flexible schedules and 24/7 on-call availability.

  • Must be able to perform and guide employees in the following areas: operation of heavy machinery, pumps and hoses; erosion control installation; handling waste drums and waste segregation; landscaping and mowing; sample collection; stormwater; HDPE piping; general sitework; spill response; decontamination; waste clean-up; site remediation and/or restoration; waste management; understanding written and oral instructions
Required Eligibility Qualifications
  • 3+ years of management experience in the environmental field
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
  • Clean driving record and a valid state driver’s license (Required)
  • Able to obtain identification compliant with REAL
  • Pass DOD/DOE background check for site access/clearance
  • Pass pre-employment and random DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol screening
  • Experience in site cleanup, industrial cleaning, or landscaping activities
  • Reliable transportation to and from work and ability to fulfill varying shift times
Physical Demands
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and sustain physical activity such as bending, stooping, standing, walking, turning, and long periods of standing
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly
  • Pass pre-employment physical
  • Sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance; spend the majority of the day in a non-seated position
  • Capable of wearing a respirator (pass pulmanary and fit test) and not have claustrophobia or acrophobia
  • Work in varying (extreme) temperatures depending on season
  • Perform activities such as shoveling, raking, and routine housekeeping
  • Complete all pre and post training including safety, new hire, and regulatory training
Supervisory Responsibility
  • Manage crews consisting of CDL drivers, technicians, and laborers
  • Responsibilities include timesheet review/approval, project performance metrics (safety, quality, value), recruiting/hiring, and execution of work schedules
  • Promote Safety, Quality, and Value for all industrial service-related project activities
  • Vacuum equipment operations
  • Operate large industrial cleaning equipment and vehicles
  • Pressure washing
  • Other industrial cleaning-related activities
Certifications/Training/Licensure (Require but will train)
  • 30-hour OSHA (preferred but will train)
  • MSHA (preferred but will train)
  • Confined Space Entry (preferred but will train)
  • Class A CDL (preferred)
  • 40-HR HAZWOPER (preferred but will train)
