General Manager - Civil Construction & Drill Operations

Reporting to the company President, the General Manager is responsible for the complete operational and financial performance of the company, overseeing civil construction projects, cell tower drilling operations, and all business development activities. This role drives profitability, operational excellence, and growth while managing client relationships, project delivery, estimating/quoting processes, and field operations. The General Manager serves as the senior operational leader, working closely with ownership to execute the company's strategic vision and ensure sustainable business performance.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in civil construction and/or telecommunications infrastructure, with at least 5 years in senior management
• Proven track record managing P&L responsibility and driving profitable business operations
• Strong experience with estimating, quoting, and business development in the construction industry
• Experience with drilling operations, foundation work, or telecommunications infrastructure preferred
• Deep understanding of civil construction methods, means, and materials
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, job costing, and margin management
• Excellent leadership and team development skills with ability to manage diverse field and office teams
• Outstanding client relationship management and communication abilities
• Proven ability to win new work and grow business relationships
• Proficiency with estimating software, project management systems, and construction-specific tools
