Position OverviewAs a Material Handler, you will support a broad range of activities in a dynamic, high‑energy warehouse environment providing all material to production departments for manufacturing the best rail vehicles in the world. This role focuses on receiving, put‑away, picking, kitting, or delivery of material to production, and may involve interaction with the MRP system to accurately track material movements.
What Your Day‑to‑Day Will Look Like- Follow all safety requirements, including use of all required PPE.
- Contribute to and maintain a workplace that ensures a healthy and safe environment.
- Receive, put‑away, pick, kit, or deliver material to production.
- Ensure transactional accuracy for all material movements, including correct quantity and proper MRP system entries.
- Ensure all material is properly identified with appropriate labels and part numbers.
- Handle material carefully to prevent damage during warehouse handling or delivery to production.
- Immediately notify supervisor of any quality or delivery issues.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles (some may require certification in crane, forklift, order picker, scissor lift, or fall protection).
- Meet production schedule for material delivery to production.
- Explain warehouse procedures and processes to fellow workers.
- High school Diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Basic English skills—ability to read and understand written instructions and communicate verbally.
- Previous warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous Powered Industrial Vehicle certification.

The base rate for this position in Lexington, NC is $17.00 /hr – $20.74 /hr. The actual wage may vary depending on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
