Varnish Room Sand and Prep (3rd shift

Job Summary

We are looking for passionate, hard‑working individuals to join our production staff.

• Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Assist a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed.
• Secures leads on unit to protect from varnish.
• Uses hoists and power lift trucks to move units.
• Uses sanding equipment to remove excess varnish.
• Makes general decisions as to setup sequences and process monitoring.
• Exercises good housekeeping in work area.
• Observes good safety practices in performance of job.
• Performs daily/weekly TPM tasks and completes check sheets.
• Performs other job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader.

• High school diploma / GED required.
• 0–2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Knowledge of commonly‑used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on instructions and pre‑established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Works under immediate supervision.
• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
• Read and write, follow written process instructions and record information as required.

• First shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm (35hr, get paid for 40hr plus 5% shift premium).
• Second shift: 3:30pm – 10:30pm.
• Third shift: 10:30pm – 7:00am (10% shift premium).

Base rate $21.20, $24.92 for skilled labor with sign‑on bonus. Increase every 3 months with a top‑out in 12.
