Starting Pay: M-F schedule: $18/hour and 12-hour rotating swing shift schedule: $21/hour.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
Job functions include but are not limited to the following.
- Unload and upload large lumber like material.
- Identify damages.
- Report shortages.
- Transport raw materials to production workstations.
- Inspect machinery.
- Determine the need for repairs.
- Keep updated records of inventory.
- Produce activity logs.
- Comply with company policies and guidelines.
- Assist in keeping a safe environment.
SCHEDULE DEMANDS
- Schedule:
Monday - Friday 11am - 7:30pm or 12-hour rotating 7-7 swing shift (2-2-3) 2 weeks days & 2 weeks nights, however, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours.
- Occasional bending and lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
- Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.
- Ability to enter and exit forklift multiple times per shift as well as climb onto and off the forklift.
BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of experience operating an industrial type forklift.
- Ability to operate a forklift in various environments and conditions.
- Strong attention to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Valid Driver's License.
EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of safety regulations, load capacity limits, stability considerations, and best practices for forklift operation in various environments.
- Basic understanding of forklift mechanics, including routine maintenance, pre- and post-operation inspections, and the ability to identify and report mechanical issues.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures, inventory management, and material handling practices to effectively navigate and operate within a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Understanding of spatial considerations, including the ability to maneuver in confined spaces, stack and unstack materials, and navigate through warehouse layouts.
