This position plays a critical role in keeping production running efficiently by setting up, adjusting, troubleshooting, and maintaining high-speed candy wrapping equipment. What

You'll Do

As a Wrapper Technician I, you'll serve as the primary technical support resource for assigned wrapping equipment during your shift.

  • Set up wrapper machines for daily production runs
  • Verify correct wrapping materials and product specifications
  • Perform startup inspections and equipment readiness checks
  • Monitor machine performance and make routine adjustments
  • Troubleshoot basic mechanical and operational issues
  • Minimize downtime through proactive equipment monitoring
  • Assist with product changeovers and production startups
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance activities
  • Inspect and maintain belts, chains, guides, sensors, heaters, and other machine components
  • Support operators with machine operation and troubleshooting
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and GMP-compliant work area
  • Work closely with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to maximize efficiency and product quality
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to use basic hand tools
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Reliable attendance and positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Packaging equipment experience
  • Preventative maintenance experience
  • Food manufacturing experience
  • Experience operating automated equipment
Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequently bend, squat, reach, and climb stairs
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Work around moving machinery and production equipment
  • Perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
