Material Handler: Finishing

The Material Handler ensures efficient material flow by transporting materials between storage and finishing machines, receiving deliveries, managing inventory through a warehouse system, and performing stock accuracy checks.

Efficiently move raw materials from storage to finishing machines and finished products from machines to shipping or storage.

Safely operate pin lifts and forklifts to maneuver materials.

Locate and store materials from deliveries (STO trucks and containers).Perform cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy and reinforce material traceability (ensuring materials are tracked in the system).Communicate effectively with finishing schedulers and machine operators to maintain efficient operation of finishing machines.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Demonstrate a commitment to safety by adhering to OSHA standards. Maintains focus in potentially hazardous environments.

Physical abilities:
Meet the physical demands of the role, including static pull strength of 84 lbs., push 60 lbs., lift 50 lbs. Mount/dismount a sit-down forklift.

Technical skills:
Possess basic computer skills to operate production related software and maintain digital records. Forklift knowledge (stand-up and sit-down) Proficiency in using a portable scanner.

Continuous improvement:
Maintain a process optimization

High School Diploma or GED.
1-2 years (Material Handling) Forklift experience

Manufacturing Experience preferred.

Familiarity with SAP/Microsoft Office is a plus.
