Our Client is looking for an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to join their manufacturing team in Welcome, NC
. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about workplace safety, environmental compliance, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced industrial environment.

What You'll Do:- Champion a proactive zero-incident safety culture across the manufacturing facility.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs that meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead safety, environmental, and compliance training for employees, supervisors, contractors, and visitors.
- Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and ergonomic assessments to identify risks and improve workplace safety.
- Investigate workplace incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Review and update safety policies to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
- Support and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and certification requirements.
- Perform facility audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate emergency response planning and preparedness activities.
- Maintain regulatory records, reports, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Safety & Environmental Committee initiatives.
- Experience in Environmental Health & Safety within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
- Hands‑on experience with incident investigations, hazard assessments, safety audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Strong communication and training skills with the ability to influence a positive safety culture.
