Part Time Retail Associate

Retail Sales Associate Rock Outdoors is looking for a Retail Sales Associate for our stores. The ideal candidate is passionate about the outdoors including paddle sports (i.e. kayaking, canoeing, SUPs) camping, and fishing, as well as educating our customers about the best gear for their next adventure!

Responsibilities:

Demonstrates excellent customer service standards

Restocks Inventory on Sales Floor Runs cash register

Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following c company procedures and standards

Maintains organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store

Follows all company policies and procedures, including loss prevention guidelines to deter theft.

Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect

Participates in safety awareness and maintenance of a risk-free environment

Requirements:

Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including weekends and holidays; 2 - 4 weekends shifts per month is ideal

Possesses excellent customer service skills, communication and listening skills, ability to learn and execute the concept

Possesses strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Capable of handling multiple tasks at one time

Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations

Prolonged periods of standing and walking

Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation

Works effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks

High school diploma or GED required

Reliable transportation is required

Retail customer experience is ideal
