Maintenance Technician Level 2

The maintenance technician will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role, you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read and interpret diagrams and repair manuals. Must have a willingness to occasionally work flexible hours and overtime to accommodate machine downtime.

• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
• Ability to check manuals or parts catalogs as necessary.
• Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, wrenches, etc.
• Experience with electronics/electrical parts is a plus.
• Experience performing routine maintenance.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Professional presentation and attitude.
• Ability to maintain focus while working individually.

Valid driver's license

• Handling basic repairs and maintenance. This includes repairs to machines throughout the plant and the facility.
• Performing preventative maintenance.
• Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
• Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
• Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Movement of equipment as needed within the plant that can be performed by maintenance.

• Maintain compliance with all required documentation.

Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, reach, climb, grasp, or otherwise for up to 10 hours per day.

Shift / hours:
First - M-Th 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

Must be willing to occasionally work flexible hours and overtime to accommodate machine downtime.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
