At Walmart, we are looking for a Licensed Master Electrician to oversee the predictive and preventative maintenance of our facilities within a regional area. The role involves leading a team of technicians, working closely with Store Managers, Facility Services Leadership, vendors, and contractors, ensuring efficient operations, regulatory compliance, and a safe environment for associates and customers.

• Approximately 50% or more travel within the region.
• Collaborate directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership to support facility services needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as required.
• Provide reporting and analytics on maintenance activities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date contractor licenses and ensure compliance with relevant authorities.
• Participate in training programs to stay current with regulatory requirements, conduct site inspections, and monitor compliance and quality standards.
• Obtain necessary permits and schedule inspections as mandated by mechanical or building codes.

• 3‑5 years of general facilities services / overall building maintenance experience.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, or mechanical systems.
• Leadership skills – able to lead, motivate, and develop technicians.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem‑solving skills – root cause and breakdown analysis experience.

• EPA Universal Certification.
• PMP Certification.
• Lean Six Sigma.
• Class I/II Plumbing Contractor certification.
• Maintain mechanical contractor licenses in the state of employment.

• Licensed Master Electrician and 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, electrical maintenance, engineering, or a related area, or 3 years’ experience with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Master Electrician License or equivalent in the state of employment.

• Experience with building controls or related areas.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams.
• External work experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in an optical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment.
• Supervisory experience.
• Type I and Type II EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
