The Water Plant Operator I,II,III performs semi-skilled work in operating and maintaining a Water Treatment Plant .

- Graduation from high school or equivalent;
- Driver's license valid in NC and good driving record;
- Ability to work regularly;
- Achievement of a Grade C water treatment operator's license (Water Plant Operator) or Grade I wastewater treatment operator's license (Waste Plant Operator) within 18 months.
- Graduation from high school or equivalent;
- Demonstrable skills equivalent to two years' experience operating a water or wastewater treatment plant;;
- Driver's license valid in NC and good driving record;
- Ability to work regularly;
- Possession of a Grade C water treatment operator's license (Water Plant Operator) or Grade II wastewater treatment operator's license (Waste Plant Operator).
- Graduation from high school or equivalent;
- Driver's license valid in NC and good driving record;
- Demonstrable skills equivalent to three years' experience in operating a water or wastewater treatment plant;
- Ability to work regularly;
- Possession of a Grade B water treatment operator's license (Water Plant Operator) or Grade IV wastewater treatment operator's license (Waste Plant Operator).
40 hours per week. On-Call rotation. Rotating 12-hour shift pattern. Paid bi-weekly.
