EGGER North America’s Apprenticeship Program provides individuals with a structured pathway to build a career in advanced manufacturing through a combination of paid education, hands‑on technical training, and real-world work experience.
Throughout the four-year program, apprentices work alongside experienced professionals while developing practical skills in mechanical and electrical systems, equipment operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, safety, and manufacturing processes. Classroom instruction is combined with on‑the‑job training, allowing apprentices to apply what they learn while progressively building technical knowledge, confidence, and independence.
The program is designed for individuals who are motivated to learn, enjoy working with their hands and solving problems, and are interested in developing the skills needed for a long-term career in manufacturing.

RESPONSIBILITIESJOB FUNCTIONS: (Job functions include but are not limited to the following)
- Participate in a structured four‑year apprenticeship program combining classroom instruction with hands‑on, on‑the‑job training.
- Learn and apply fundamental principles of mechanical and electrical systems, equipment operation, maintenance, and manufacturing processes.
- Work alongside experienced professionals and apprentice trainers to develop practical technical skills and progressively increase job knowledge and responsibility.
- Learn to safely operate, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and systems as assigned.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Ensure required personal protective equipment (PPE), tools, and safety equipment are properly used and maintained.
- Complete required coursework, training modules, assignments, and other educational requirements according to established program timelines.
- Maintain satisfactory progress in both academic coursework and on‑the‑job training requirements.
- Collaborate with apprentice trainers, mentors, and supervisors to establish and achieve learning, development, and performance goals.
- Develop troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills by assisting with the identification and resolution of mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
- Learn to complete required SAP documentation and reports detailing daily work activities and completed tasks.
- Demonstrate initiative, reliability, accountability, and a willingness to learn throughout the apprenticeship.
- Embody EGGER Core Principles in all aspects of work activity.
