The Wastewater Plant Operator I,II, or III position performs semi-skilled work in operating and maintaining a wastewater treatment plant .

- Graduation from high school or GED
- Valid NC driver’s license or valid out-of-state driver’s license with the ability to obtain a valid NC driver’s license within sixty days of employment and good driving record
- Achievement of Grade I Biological Wastewater certification within 12 months of employment
- Graduation from high school or GED
- Two years of experience operating a wastewater treatment plant
- Valid NC driver’s license or valid out-of-state driver’s license with the ability to obtain a valid NC driver’s license within sixty days of employment and good driving record
- Grade III Biological Wastewater certification
- Valid NC driver’s license or valid out-of-state driver’s license with the ability to obtain a valid NC driver’s license within sixty days of employment and good driving record
- Three years of experience in operating a wastewater treatment plant
- Grade IV Biological Wastewater certification
Work Schedule
On-Call rotation, Rotating shift pattern. Paid bi-weekly.
This position will remain open until October 7th at 11:59pm.
