Accounts Payable Specialist

Medical Services of America Inc. currently seeks a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist for our Corporate office in Lexington, SC.

This person will be responsible for preparing invoices for entry into the accounts payable system.

Matches purchase orders to receivers and invoices and flags discrepancies.

Performs accounts payable statement review and reconciliation.

Codes incoming accounts payable invoices in a timely and accurate manner.

Batches, balances, and enters incoming invoices into the accounts payable system.

Audits invoices for standards violations and takes the appropriate action to correct them.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• BS or BA degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a related position.
• Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains software experience strongly preferred.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) experience required.
• Crystal Reports and database experience strongly preferred.
