Senior ERP Implementation Accountant Lexington, SC (Hybrid)

Salary Range: $100-135k
Schedule: 40-50 hours per week
Location: Lexington, SC (Approximately 70% onsite)

Overview

A growing construction-related organization is seeking a Senior ERP Implementation Accountant to lead a critical accounting system conversion initiative at a recently acquired business. The Senior ERP Implementation Accountant will play a key role in completing an active Computer Ease implementation, migrating historical and current project accounting data, and improving accounting processes within a fast-paced environment.

This Senior ERP Implementation Accountant opportunity is ideal for a hands-on professional who combines strong accounting knowledge with ERP implementation experience and can independently drive projects from assessment through completion.

Core Responsibilities

The Senior ERP Implementation Accountant will:

Complete a partially implemented Computer Ease conversion project.
Migrate historical and current-year accounting and project data from legacy systems and manual records.
Validate data accuracy and reconcile converted information.
Work closely with finance and operational stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
Establish accounting workflows and standard operating procedures.
Assist with job costing structures and construction accounting processes.
Support development of reporting tools and Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules.
Identify process improvements and system optimization opportunities.
Troubleshoot implementation issues and recommend solutions.

Qualifications Required

4+ years of accounting, ERP implementation, accounting systems, or data migration experience.
Previous Computer Ease experience.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with system conversions, implementations, or data validation projects.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred

Construction industry accounting experience.
Experience with job costing and WIP reporting.
CPA or CPA-track candidate.
Prior acquisition integration or ERP implementation experience.
Experience with in high-growth or private equity-backed environments.

Technical Skills

Computer Ease experience strongly preferred.
Experience with Business Works, Sage, or similar accounting systems is a plus.
Intermediate Excel skills for reconciliation and data validation activities.
Ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies.
