Responsibilities- Supervise and lead site grading crew on various construction and development sites
- Perform and oversee fine grading for building pads, roadways, and other site areas
- Ensure proper elevations, slopes, and tolerances using GPS and/or laser equipment
- Coordinate daily work activities and ensure adherence to project plans and schedules
- Operate grading and earthmoving equipment as needed to support crew operations
- Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other team members
- Assist with equipment maintenance and ensure tools and materials are properly used and cared for
- 3+ years of experience in site development, grading and earthwork construction
- Prior experience as a foreman in fine grading preferred
- Strong understanding of grading plans, blueprints, and construction layouts
- Skilled in GPS grading systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
- Valid Driver's License with clean motor vehicle record
