We are seeking an experience and dependable Site Development Fine Grade Foreman to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating field crews performing fine grading and site development work.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in earthwork, grading, and equipment operation, with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supervise and lead site grading crew on various construction and development sites.
Perform and oversee fine grading for building pads, roadways, and other site areas.
Ensure proper elevations, slopes, and tolerances using GPS, and/or laser equipment.
Coordinate daily work activities and ensure adherence to project plans and schedules.
Operate grading and earthmoving equipment as needed to support crew operations.
Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
Maintain a safe work environment and enforce company safety policies
Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other team members.
Assist with equipment maintenance and ensure tools and materials are properly used and cared for.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in site development, grading and earthwork construction
Prior experience as a foreman in fine grading preferred
Strong understanding of grading plans, blueprints, and construction layouts
Skilled in GPS grading systems
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Valid Driver’s License with clean motor vehicle record
