Northside Christian Academy is expanding its high school opportunities and is seeking to add a dynamic, full-time high school Bible teacher for the  school year. Specific Bible related courses and grade level assignments will depend on the strengths of the candidate and current staff. The candidate must be able to effectively manage a classroom, teach with excellence and rigor, build relationships with students, and be able to put together an engaging, biblically integrated learning classroom.

The candidate must also demonstrate excellence in planning, teamwork, communication, and have a strong work ethic.

With the understanding that Northside is only as good as its staff, Northside desires to recruit and retain faculty of the highest quality and commit to employ candidates who:

• have a vibrant Christ-centered life with a clear testimony of God’s saving grace in a born-again experience
• are actively involved in an evangelical church of like faith and practice as Northside Baptist Church
• are in agreement with the philosophies, Statements of Faith, Statements of Christian Living of Northside Christian Academy/Northside Baptist Church
• are called into Christian education by God
• demonstrate a commitment to the mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of Christian schooling by enrolling their eligible children in Northside Christian Academy
• are willing to assist in extracurricular duties as assigned by the principal

Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in field with educational training and experience being strongly desired. A degree in secondary education is preferred. Additionally, candidates must possess or be willing and able to obtain an ACSI certification.
