Northside Christian Academy is seeking a passionate, Christ-centered Lower School Music and Choir Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will cultivate a love for music while pointing students to Christ through joyful worship, strong musical instruction, and meaningful performance opportunities.

The Music / Choir Teacher will provide engaging, developmentally appropriate music instruction for elementary students (grades K–4 and some primary grades) and lead student choir performances throughout the school year. This individual will help students grow musically while reinforcing biblical truth and Christian character.

• Teach general music classes to elementary students
• Direct and rehearse elementary choir(s)
• Prepare students for chapel, Christmas programs, spring concerts, and special events
• Integrate biblical principles into music instruction
• Introduce students to foundational music concepts (rhythm, pitch, notation, instruments, vocal technique)
• Foster confidence, creativity, and teamwork through performance opportunities
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to support school events
• Maintain a positive, organized, and Christ-honoring classroom environment

• A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Agreement with the school’s statement of faith
• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field (preferred)
• Experience teaching elementary students
• Ability to lead and direct children’s choir
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

Position is full-time.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
