World Language Teachers Elementary School Spanish
Lexington County School District One (Lexington, SC) seeks to hire multiple World Language Teachers Elementary School Spanish. Must have U.S. Bachelor's Degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field, or its foreign equivalent. This position also requires a valid South Carolina teaching certificate with appropriate specialization and fluency in Spanish. Duties include teaching concepts and skills in comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish to elementary school students;
teaching appreciation of the countries' culture for assigned elementary school grade level(s) (1-5); and performing other duties as assigned including tutoring elementary school students, curriculum writing, peer evaluations and/or similar duties. Position may transfer to a different building within the district's metro-statistical area (MSA) to accommodate the business needs of the district.
