Adjunct Instructor
The adjunct instructor will be responsible for teaching course(s) within the Early Childhood Development and/or Education Transfer Programs. Courses will be taught at Dual Enrollment High Schools during school hours (typically 8 am - 2 pm). The courses, and by extension, the instructors are under the purview of MTC and the supervision of the MTC Dean of Education and Public Service, as well as the Early Childhood Education Program Director.
Adjunct instructors are expected to comply with all MTC policies and procedures.
The selected candidate must have earned at least 18 graduate semester credit hours in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a closely related field. Must have classroom teaching experience with PreK - 12th grade. Must be available to teach during normal high school hours (generally 8 am - 2 pm) at various locations in Richland, Lexington, or Fairfield counties.
Master's degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a closely related field. Experience teaching college students. Experience using the D2L Brightspace LMS.
