Special Education Teacher in Lexington, SC

Take an impactful role supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year. This full-time, onsite contract position is perfect for a passionate educator eager to make a difference in the lives of children across self-contained grades K-2 and 3-5 classrooms. Qualifications:

• Hold or be eligible for South Carolina Special Education Teacher Certification:
  Multi-categorical (PKGrade 12)
• Prior experience with the IEP process and goals development
• Comfortable working in-person and committing to the full school day and school year calendar
• Experience supporting students with various needs in an elementary self-contained environment is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to meet each student's unique learning needs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to parents and staff
