Overview
A growing advanced manufacturing organization is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineering Lead to oversee test engineering operations supporting complex electronic assemblies and systems.
This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of engineers while driving modernization efforts across manufacturing test strategy, validation processes, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in manufacturing test environments with proven leadership experience and a passion for developing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of Test Engineers supporting production and new product introduction activities.
- Develop and implement manufacturing test strategies, procedures, and validation methodologies for electronic products.
- Oversee test system performance, data analysis, failure investigations, and corrective action initiatives.
- Collaborate with design engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to ensure robust test coverage and product reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on yield enhancement, fault detection, cycle time reduction, and operational efficiency.
- Support implementation and integration of automated test equipment, functional test systems, and related technologies.
- Monitor test metrics and performance trends, recommending improvements based on data-driven analysis.
Qualified candidates will typically possess experience in electronics manufacturing, test engineering, validation, reliability, or related disciplines, along with demonstrated success leading technical teams in a fast-paced production environment.
