The HR Analyst supports the Human Resources, Safety, and Benefits functions within a manufacturing environment by analyzing employee data, benefits utilization, safety metrics, and workers’ compensation trends. This role is responsible for transforming HR and safety data into meaningful insights that support leadership decision-making, compliance, and continuous improvement. The HR Analyst works closely with HR, Safety, Operations, and leadership teams to promote efficient program management and data-driven practices across the organization.
Dutiesand Responsibilities HR & Workforce Analytics
- Analyze and report on key HR metrics including turnover, absenteeism, benefits utilization, leaves of absence, injury trends, and workers’ compensation claims.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and operational teams.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve workforce stability, safety performance, and benefits effectiveness.
- Support internal and external audits, investigations, and compliance reviews by providing accurate documentation and data.
- Assist with regulatory reporting related to HR, benefits, safety, and workers’ compensation.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across HRIS and related systems.
- Support benefits administration through data tracking, enrollment reporting, and utilization analysis.
- Track and report safety metrics including training completion, corrective actions, and incident trends.
- Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of HR, safety, and benefits procedures and best practices.
- Partner with HR, Safety, and Operations leaders to improve processes, reporting accuracy, and program outcomes.
- Recommend data-driven improvements to HR and safety programs based on analysis and benchmarking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Safety Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in HR analytics, benefits administration, safety, or a related analytical role.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, benefits administration, and workplace safety regulations.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with dashboards and data visualization preferred.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
