Schedule: Hiring for both 1st and 2nd Shifts
Position SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Custodial Supervisor to lead our 1st and or 2nd shift operations at a multi-building advanced research and technology campus located in Lexington, MA. This site supports highly specialized scientific work, requiring a strong focus on cleanliness, safety, and confidentiality. The Supervisor will oversee a team of custodial staff and ensure consistent service delivery in a secure, innovation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily custodial operations across multiple buildings within the campus
- Assign tasks and manage shift coverage to ensure operational efficiency and responsiveness
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with cleaning standards, safety protocols, and site-specific requirements
- Train and onboard new custodial staff, reinforcing best practices and performance expectations
- Maintain inventory of cleaning equipment and supplies; manage refurbishments and restocking
- Communicate effectively with team members, site contacts, and ABM management
- Support facility events and respond to urgent custodial needs as required
- Maintain accurate records of schedules, inspections, and performance metrics
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior supervisory experience in custodial or facilities services
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience working in secure or specialized environments preferred
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Spanish speaking is a plus
