Job Description The Licensed Practical Nurse assists in providing high-quality patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse and licensed provider. Primary responsibilities include:
Provide patient- and family-centered nursing care. Assist physicians and providers during examinations and procedures. Interview and assess patients while obtaining medical histories and chief complaints. Obtain and document vital signs and other clinical information. Perform telephone and in-person patient screenings. Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the appropriate provider. Utilize sound clinical judgment and critical thinking within the LPN scope of practice.
