Sorinex is seeking a skilled and motivated Traveling Installer to join our team. This role involves installing and setting up weight room equipment for commercial gyms, schools, corporate wellness centers, and private facilities across various locations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about fitness equipment installation, with the ability to travel extensively.
We are looking for someone who can:- Assemble, position, and secure fitness and we equipment according to specifications and safety standards.
- Assess and prepare installation sites, ensuring proper measurements, layouts, and electrical requirements are met.
- Unload, transport, and organize equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct post-installation inspections to ensure functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to address needs and resolve any on-site issues.
- Travel to various locations (regionally or nationally) for installations.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, including measurements, equipment lists, and client feedback.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
- Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently
- Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day
- Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing
