Job Summary
Design generators, motors, and/or associated control/protective systems for commercial, industrial, and/or military applications.
Responsibilities- Contribute to design of rotating electrical equipment using various LSNA design programs.
- Perform/direct activities to ensure that manufacturing and operational testing conform to internal and external customer specifications.
- Provide direct technical support to internal and external customers.
- Mentor and train co-workers as required.
- Prescribe, interpret, and analyze test results and formulate remedial measures as required.
- Use Lean and Quality initiatives in a cross‑functional environment.
- Support applicable manufacturing and testing systems.
- Utilize current ERP/PLM systems to make necessary updates to internal processes and design guidelines.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of electrical power fundamentals, as well as strong analytical, organizational, and oral communication skills.
2-4 years of relevant experience.
EducationBS degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar technical science field) required.
