We are looking for an Entry-Level Right of Way Specialist with a focus on appraisal services to join our team in TN or KY.At Egis, every project is an opportunity to create lasting impact. ** The Impact You'll Make
*** Contact property owners impacted by roadway projects; answering phone calls and setting up meetings.
* Inspect properties that are impacted by roadway projects with certified appraiser.
* Assist certified appraiser in writing appraisal reports.
* Research market condition and courthouse records to compile comparable sales for appraisal reports.
* Acquire land and easements under the law of eminent domain, following Federal Highway Administration Guidelines.
* Document and gather data for title reports.
** The Expertise You'll Bring
*** Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
* Experience in right of way with transportation projects may substitute for education.
* Experience in real estate appraising is not required but recommended.
* Possess a valid driver's license, travel will be required.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
* High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* A proactive and self-motivated work ethic with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
