Job Summary

The Manager, INDIRECT Commodity will oversee the company’s strategic sourcing activities for indirect material spend, including supplier identification and selection, contract negotiations, and indirect category management best practices. The successful candidate will have experience in strategic sourcing processes with a track record of managing indirect materials and services, and possess excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee indirect strategic sourcing processes, including contract management, supplier selection, and pricing negotiations.
  • Develop and implement commodity management best practices to ensure efficiency and efficacy in total cost of ownership.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Manage and monitor suppliers’ performance, conduct quarterly business reviews, and ensure compliance with organizational goals and financial targets.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with stakeholders to align commodity strategies with business goals and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and conditions to ensure best practice alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, environmental and safety requirements.
  • Track supply chain procurement metrics and report performance to management.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members in strategic sourcing processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and technology, including ERP systems.
  • Understanding of relevant procurement laws and regulations.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management is preferred.
