Welder B- 2nd Shift

Starting Rates:
Skilled Labor $24.92 + Sign on bonus;
Production $21.20

Increase every 3 months with a top out in 12 months. Benefits Day 1 include 9% 401k contribution, technical incentive, paid holidays, and paid vacation.

Shift Details:

• 1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• 2nd shift: 3:30pm - 10:30pm – work 35 hr, paid for 40 hr plus 5% shift premium
• 3rd shift: 10:30pm - 7:00am – 10% shift premium

Position Summary:

Responsible for MIG and TIG welds to rotor cores, lamination rings, and brazing.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Make correct settings on welders including speeds and feeds as well as proper setups of products to be welded
• Inspect quality of material being welded to prevent rework
• Assemble laminations to lengths
• Press and weld rotor cores
• Take coils and measure to size, cut to length, and place ring in jigs and weld
• Grind and clean rotor cores after welding
• Braise copper pole plates and copper conduction rods
• Maintain good housekeeping
• Observe required safety practices
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
