Welder B- 1st shift

Job Summary

Nidec is the world’s No.1 comprehensive motor manufacturer, producing a range of motors for industrial, commercial, and consumer applications.

Responsible for MIG and TIG welds to rotor cores, lamination rings, and brazing components.

• Make correct settings on welders, including speeds and feeds.
• Set up products for welding.
• Inspect quality of materials to prevent rework.
• Assemble laminations to lengths.
• Press and weld rotor cores.
• Take coils, measure to size, cut to length, and place ring in jigs and weld.
• Grind and clean rotor cores after welding.
• Brazes copper pole pieces and copper conduction rods.
• Exercise good housekeeping and observe safety practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader.

• Must be able to read and write.
