You will work with a broad range of talented individuals to deliver quality products in a timely manner. You’ll work alongside Assemblers and partner with professionals across multiple departments.
As a Material Handler, you will follow specified work instructions, loads, unloads, and moves material within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing essential duties and responsibilities. You will continually look for ways to improve our production processes and make Safety your #1 priority every day.
Qualifications- High School Graduate or GED.
- 1+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Must possess the ability to use the tools and equipment needed to perform assembly operations in an industrial setting.
- Must have good listening and communication skills.
- Able to work well with others to be a good team player.
- Read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved; perform Kanban movement.
- Open and close containers.
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
- Load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
- Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
- Secure materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
- Count, weigh, and record the number of units of materials moved or handled for stock requisition or Kanban record.
- Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information containers.
- Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band together.
- Remove samples of materials, label with identifying information, and take samples to laboratory for analysis.
- Drive industrial lift trucks, electric carts, industrial sweeper, and company pick‑up truck.
- Make simple adjustments and perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Assemble crates or boxes to contain products such as machines or vehicles.
- Clean work area, spillage, and equipment as required.
- Wrap and crate various units.
- Other duties may be assigned.
The employee is regularly required to use hands, fingers, and arms to handle materials; stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift and move objects up to 50 pounds occasionally, and up to 30 pounds occasionally. The employee must maintain close vision, talk, and hear. The work environment includes fumes or airborne particles, exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration, high noise levels, and work at various heights from step ladders, mobile or fixed ladders, or scaffold platforms.

The hourly rate for this role is in the range of $21.00 - $23.00 per hour. The actual salary may vary based on training, skills, experience, education, market conditions, and location.
