Manufacturing Team Leader - 1st Shift (3085) Job Summary

Command in a manufacturing environment on the 1st shift. Lead a production team, ensure safety, 5S, TPM compliance, and proper scheduling in Oracle. Actively train employees on method sheets and support production processes.

• High School Diploma / GED Equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on industrial manufacturing experience, preferably in rotating equipment applications.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to influence team members.
• Six months in current position with no written corrective actions within the last year.

• Ensure work stations meet all Safety, 1+5S and TPM requirements.
• Review all Method Sheets that apply to work performed and facilitate training of all employees per proper Method Sheets and Training Procedures with HR.
• Facilitate proper scanning of work orders within the Oracle Production System to ensure accurate production reporting and inventory; ensure all rework tickets are filled out and turned in to the proper department.
• Influence team members by displaying a positive proactive work ethic that sets the standards for maintaining a safe, productive work environment while maintaining high quality standards and striving for continuous improvement.
• Act as a working production team member as needed.
• Maintain First5 Boards and conduct First5 Meeting in supervisors absence.
• Facilitate and help maintain all lean enterprise initiatives, 1+5S, TPM and VSM requirements.
• Prior to movement to the next level of production, sign off on all completed department outbound production.
