We are seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong electrical and mechanical abilities who enjoys solving complex equipment issues and keeping operations running efficiently.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Install, maintain, and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, drives, gearboxes, and production equipment.
- Maintain and repair industrial equipment including hoists, cranes, presses, mills, lathes, and CNC lasers.
- Troubleshoot and repair VFDs, sensors, controls, instrumentation, and related electrical components.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and machining work as required.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
- Accurately complete work orders and maintenance documentation within the CMMS system.
- Follow all safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and environmental regulations.
- Participate in emergency maintenance response efforts and rotating on-call schedules.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems up to 480V.
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical power transmission systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Experience using maintenance tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CMMS software.
- Technical degree, maintenance certification, or apprenticeship training.
- Previous experience in metal manufacturing, fabrication, or forming operations.
- Experience with CNC equipment, welding systems, and automated machinery.
- Manufacturing facility with over 20 CNC workstations and 40+ welding bays.
- Large industrial fans located throughout the facility to improve airflow and comfort.
- Facility is currently non-temperature controlled, with plans for full air conditioning in the near future.
- Required PPE includes:
- Steel-toed boots
- Safety glasses
- Hearing protection
- Weekend overtime may be required based on production demands.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lexington, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $67659.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
