Artemis Solutions is recruiting for an Auditor to join a well-established and growing public accounting practice serving privately held businesses, nonprofit organizations, and governmental entities. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who already have a solid audit foundation and are ready to take on greater responsibility, mentor staff, and continue building their leadership skills. The underlying role includes planning and executing audit engagements, supervising staff, and building strong client relationships within a collaborative firm culture.

Current Staff Auditors, Audit Associates, or General Audit Accountants are highly encouraged to apply—especially if you've helped lead audit engagements, supervised portions of projects, mentored newer staff, or are simply ready to step into a Senior Auditor position.

As an Auditor, you'll continue expanding your audit experience while taking on increasing responsibility by:

• Performing and assisting with the planning, execution, and completion of assurance and attestation engagements
• Preparing and reviewing audit work papers, financial statements, and related reports
• Helping supervise and mentor junior staff during audit engagements
• Building strong client relationships while delivering exceptional client service
• Researching and applying accounting and auditing standards
• Working alongside experienced engagement teams to deliver high-quality results
• Identifying opportunities to improve audit processes and client service
• Continuing to develop your leadership and project management skills as you progress toward a Senior Auditor role

We're searching for someone who is:

• Experienced in public accounting with 2+ years of audit or assurance experience
• Ready to take the next step into a Senior Audit Accountant role
• Comfortable managing multiple engagements and meeting deadlines
• Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail
• An excellent communicator who enjoys working directly with clients
• A collaborative team player who enjoys mentoring and helping others succeed
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Comfortable researching and interpreting accounting and auditing guidance

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

CPA preferred, or actively pursuing CPA certification

Staff Auditors, Audit Associates, and Audit Accountants who have begun leading portions of engagements, mentoring newer team members, reviewing work papers, or taking on additional project responsibilities are especially encouraged to apply. Even if your current title isn't "Senior Auditor", we'd love to have a conversation.

• Competitive salary of $65,000–$85,000 (based on experience)
