The University of Kentucky is seeking an Academic Coordinator/Data Analyst to join the College of Arts & Sciences Academic Scheduling team. This position plays a vital role in academic planning, course scheduling, enrollment management, and data analysis. The successful candidate will help ensure students have access to the courses they need while providing data-driven insights that support academic departments, enrollment planning, and college-wide decision-making.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Audit, maintain, and update course schedules within the university’s SAP scheduling system
- Coordinate course scheduling activities and assist with resolving scheduling conflicts and discrepancies
- Support course changes, instructor assignments, and approval workflows
- Analyze enrollment trends and prepare reports using Tableau, Excel, and other institutional tools
- Develop data-informed recommendations that support course planning, instructional capacity, and student success initiatives
- Monitor enrollment activity and assist with strategic enrollment planning efforts
- Support registration processes, course placement activities, and approved registration overrides
- Collaborate with academic departments, college leadership, and university partners to support scheduling and enrollment objectives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with data, reporting tools, and large datasets
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures consistently
- Experience with SAP , Tableau, Excel, or similar systems is beneficial
- Master’s degree
