Faculty – Full‑time (non‑tenure track)

• D.M.D. or D.D.S. from a CODA accredited institution, or equivalent non‑CODA degree with proof of licensure in the jurisdiction of graduation.
• Completion of a CODA‑accredited Orthodontic program.
• Maintenance of a dental license in Kentucky.
• Maintenance of Basic Life Support (BLS).

Demonstrated ability in clinical and didactic teaching.

Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.

The University of Kentucky, College of Dentistry is seeking a full‑time, 12‑month, non‑tenure track faculty member in the Division of Orthodontics. The position will remain open until filled with an anticipated start date of August 1 2026.

• Supervise dental students and orthodontic graduate students in their clinical care of patients.
• Provide direct clinical care for patients.
• Teach predoctoral, resident, and dental courses, conduct seminars and lectures.
• Serve on college committees and collaborate with clinical faculty across divisions.
• Maintain involvement in the clinical mission of the UK College of Dentistry and the Division of Orthodontics.

Assistant, Associate, and Professor levels assess clinical competence, teaching excellence, leadership activity, and scholarly contributions.

• Assistant Professor – Commitment to clinical service and academic community; evidence of high-level clinical competence; peer recognition as an excellent clinician; potential for leadership in a clinical division; excellence in clinical teaching.
